| Personal History | Seth was the child of Reman refugees who were granted Federation citizenship in the aftermath of Shinzon's coup, and who resettled on Janus VI, where they put their mining skills to work alongside native Horta and Starfleet Engineers. Shortly after Seth was born both his parents were killed by a virus that hit the Reman population especially hard, and which Federation medicine was only able to cure after almost a quarter of the Reman population of Janus VI had been lost. Seth was adopted by human colonists who made the decision to raise him on the surface once it was learned that he could adapt to the conditions. |
